HEADACHES

It is estimated that approximately 70% of headaches are caused by problems of the neck. These headaches are often experienced at the back of the head, the sides of the head (temporals), forehead and may or may not be associated with neck pain. Many people will experience an increase in this type of headache with increased stress.

Headaches caused by problems of the structures of the neck are referred to as cervicogenic headaches and respond incredibly well to chiropractic treatment.

With the correct treatment, chiropractic care reduces the frequency and intensity of headaches. Chiropractors are equipped with the examination skills to diagnose your complaint effectively and identify if your headaches is suitable for chiropractic care.
